“Our experience on the Vienna night tour was underwhelming, to say the least. Our guide, Tobias, seemed less than fully alert — perhaps already a couple of drinks down, given the late hour. The "tour" consisted of walking a couple of blocks, during which Tobias pointed out little of significance. He took just one family photo at a traffic light, which he later emailed to us. Most landmarks were declared "closed" or "not worth seeing" at night. The promised "snacks" amounted to a single piece of chocolate each.
