The guide was knowledgeable and informative, although it was hard to understand or hear him. I had to follow him closely. A speaker or headphone would definitely help. Glad it was not crowded that day. The tour ended before noon and we had more than 6 hours of free time. I was so fortunate to meet another solo traveler. That made the 6 hours seem way a lot shorter. “The boat ships along the banks of the Donau Canal, which is as much of Danube as you may want, although is narrower than the main stream but, on the other hand, it goes through a few of Vienna's landmarks. Pleasant moments to spend the lunch time away from the crowded downtown whilst staying in the central part of the city.”

“An accurate description of meeting place would have helped as cab driver didn’t know where to take us. And getting transport back to hotel was horrible because the Uber system was only offering to pick up on Handelskai, a long way in the dark from the boat tie up. We were very stressed by the walk to the Hilton and a ride with the third Uber.”

“My wife and I took the Krems Wachau Valley River Cruise with the 3- course meal on April 27th and we highly recommend it. The weather cooperated and we were able to get seats on the upper deck of the boat to enjoy the beautiful views. Seats on the upper deck are taken up quickly as there are people who take the cruise but not the meal so if you want to sit outside after you eat you need to be vigilant. The meal was excellent and the service staff were very polite and accomodating. For a cost of $94 per person (Canadian $) this was excellent value. We would…”
